Student Services

Dedicated Faculty:

• Our program faculty are the same instructors who teach in our on-campus program. They are experts in their field and bring many years of teaching experience. They developed our online courses prioritizing a student-centric approach and emphasizing relevant skills and competencies. Students engage with their instructors through dynamic avenues like discussion boards or during synchronous office hours to enrich their learning experience.

Individualized Support:

• Before the program begins, all admitted students participate in a live synchronous “new student orientation” where you meet your faculty and fellow students and where you will learn about the resources available to you throughout your academic journey at UIC.
• As a student in our program, you will be paired with a student success advisor – your go-to resource for questions and encouragement. Our advisors help you with degree planning and course registration and generally help you stay on track towards degree completion. Should hurdles arise, they work with you in finding solutions and connecting you to campus resources. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive advising and student support to ensure that you have a seamless and rewarding educational journey.

Career Services:

• Your success goes beyond completing your coursework. The UIC Business Career Center supports students in the Online MS in Marketing in translating the course experience to the workplace – regardless of whether you are starting out in your career or if you are seeking a career or job change. Through workshops, job and internship opportunities, career fairs, mock interviews, and more, the team of experienced career coaches are here to help you learn the skills that you need to find the right business career.

Technical Support

University Library

• Our library services give students remote access to electronic resources, including databases, e-books, print materials and online book catalogs. You can also connect (via chat or email) with a librarian dedicated to supporting students in the College of Business.
