Master of Science in Marketing Application Steps

  1. Submit UIC’s Graduate Application Online.
    • Once on the page, you can either search for the program or select the Master’s Programs link under the program search bar. Select, or search for, MS Marketing-Online from the list of available programs, along with your chosen concentration. After you have selected MS Marketing-Online, click on Apply and create a log in.
  2. Upload Official Transcripts
  3. Recommender Survey (1 Required)
    • Fill out the form, within the application portal, to have the graduate college send out an email request for your recommender survey (a short survey about you is optional). You will need to input the recommenders’ email address.
  4. Upload your Resume
  5. Upload Your Personal Statement
  6. Fill Out Your FAFSA (optional)

Master of Science in Human Resource Management Application Steps

  1. Submit UIC’s Graduate Application Online.
    • Once on the page, you can either search for the program or select the Master’s Programs link under the program search bar. Select, or search for, Human Resource Management – Online – MS from the list of available programs. After you have selected Human Resource Management – Online – MS, click on Apply and create a log in.
  2. An official copy of their academic transcript(s) indicating the earned degree(s)
  3. A personal statement explaining the student’s interest and goals for the program
  4. Two letters of recommendation  (survey)
  5. GMAT/GRE test scores (see waiver information below at bottom of page)
  6. Valid English proficiency test scores must be submitted if required, based on the country or territory in which an applicant previously studied. Refer to the requirements set by UIC’s Office of Admissions, which can be found at https://admissions.uic.edu/graduate-professional/requirements-deadlines/international-requirements

Online Certificate in Leadership – Leveraging Talent Application Steps

Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited university for admission to a certificate.

  1. Submit UIC’s Graduate Application Online.
    • Once on the page, you can either search for the program or select the Certificates link under the program search bar. Select, or search for, Leadership – Leveraging Talent – Online – Campus Certificate from the list of available programs. After you have selected Leadership – Leveraging Talent – Online – Campus Certificate, click on Apply and create a log in.
  2. An official copy of the baccalaureate transcript indicating the earned degree(s)
  3. A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) is required (exceptions to this requires permission from the certificate coordinator and Assistant Dean for CBA Admissions)
  4. A personal statement explaining the student’s interest and goals for the certificate program
  5. A current resume
  6.  GMAT/GRE is optional
  7. Valid English proficiency test scores must be submitted if required, based on the country or territory in which an applicant previously studied. For International Applications Only

  • An international credential evaluation fee of $100 is assessed to any applicant presenting coursework taken outside the United States. The evaluation fee must be paid after submission of the application. Please refer to the foreign credential guidelines on the International Admission Requirements webpage.

GMAT/GRE Waiver Request Form for MS in HRM Heading link

Starting with Fall 2025 applicants, the MS in HRM program will offer GMAT/GRE waivers for the one of the following criteria:
– Current students and graduates of U.S. colleges and universities with a cumulative 3.0+ GPA (all majors)
– Graduates of U.S. colleges and universities with 3+ years of post-bachelor’s professional work experience by the start of the program
– Graduates of international colleges and universities with 3+ years of post-bachelor’s professional work experience by the start of the program
